A B O U T
Congratulations! You made it through my adult life. Now here are a few fun facts about me.
I was born in British Colombia, Canada, and moved to the USA when I was 8 years old.
Coffee is the reason I am standing most days.
Thrifting and second-hand fashion is a BIG passion of mine. Most of my wardrobe is in fact from thrift stores and I even worked in one all throughout college.
I've recently re-taught myself how to knit and crochet and am attempting new projects daily.
My favourite cocktail is a Negroni.
If I had to pick one genre of movies to watch for the rest of my life it would be Treasure Movies. I'm talking anything and everything to do with treasure of all sorts.
And finally I love taking self-portraits, you will often find me balancing my phone in a tree to get just the right shot.

Who am I?
Well, I am the girl behind the spreadsheets, lists, laptop, and most importantly the camera.
My journey with a camera started all the way back in middle school when I got my Nikon Coolpix that Ashton Kutcher convinced me to buy. It served me well for many years and had its final journey in 2013.
2013 - 2014 I spent the year living and volunteering in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. While there I worked at an HIV/AIDS Ministry with children and families affected. I helped with English, math, skills courses, CV creation, and more. It definitely was a year of growth and a big reason I find capturing people's stories so valuable.
I attended Wichita State University where I received my Communications Degree in 2018. During school, I had the pleasure of interning at two production companies. Imurj in Raleigh, NC, and Digital Brand in Wichita, KS, both of which had a big focus on music and local bands.
After graduation, I spent a summer in Alaska living and working amongst nature. Then found my way back to Raleigh, North Carolina, and took on a position as a videographer at Imurj Studios. While there I was able to push my creativity into shoots with bands and artists as well as music videos.
Then came 2020....
After losing my job at Imurj due to the pandemic I was a little lost. Where do I go? What do I do now? And to tell the truth, I still am unsure. The past two years have been full of odd jobs, freelance gigs, shoots with friends, and lots of job hunting.
It is now 2022 and I am still on the search for starting something new. If you or your company are looking for a dedicated hard-working videographer/content creator, I am currently looking for a full-time position!
